About Samantha

I’m an engineer at heart who eventually found my way into strategy, and I love the hands-on problem solving that comes with supply chain and operations. I grew up in a family where college wasn’t the norm, and that pushed me to chase every learning opportunity I could, from chemical engineering to HBS. I’m at my best when I’m digging into a messy problem, and finding simple and clear solutions. I’m ambitious and I bring intensity to my work, but everything I do is ultimately in service of my life outside of work, with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs in Chicago. I love big challenges, but I love time with friends and family even more.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I know what it’s like to navigate admissions and recruitment without guidance. As a first-generation college student and later as an engineer applying to business school, I had no insider knowledge; it was just trial, error, and a little bit of luck. Now, after my time at HBS and McKinsey, I’ve seen how much strong storytelling and the right support can unlock opportunities for great candidates. I love helping people clarify what drives them and turn their experiences into a narrative that truly reflects who they are and why they belong.
