Exiting Consulting with Intention (Five Session Package) This five-session package is designed for consultants who are considering a transition out of consulting or rethinking their current path and want clarity, conviction, and momentum. Sessions are one hour each and structured, while remaining flexible based on where you want to focus. Session 1: Setting the Direction We begin by grounding the work in your current reality. This session is about articulating the moment you are in, why now, and what decisions are actually on the table. We align on goals for our work together and define what progress will look like over the course of the package. You will leave with a clear framing of the transition you are navigating, clarity on the questions you need to answer, and a shared direction for the work ahead. Session 2: Strengths and Interests This session focuses on identifying patterns across your experience. We look closely at past roles, projects, and moments of energy or frustration to understand what you are good at, what you enjoy, and the environments where you thrive. You will leave with a stronger understanding of your strengths, clarity on what energizes you versus what drains you, and the beginnings of conviction around what you want to optimize for next. Session 3: Evaluation Options Here, we translate self-understanding into real options. We evaluate potential next steps based on what we have uncovered so far, including staying in consulting longer with intention, transitioning into industry, considering school, or pursuing less obvious paths. The goal is not to choose quickly, but to choose thoughtfully. You will leave with a short list of paths worth exploring, clear criteria for evaluating opportunities, and focus around where to spend your time and energy. Session 4: Telling Your Story Clearly This session is execution-focused. We work on resumes, messaging, and interview preparation to ensure you are presenting your experience in a way that aligns with the direction you are pursuing. You will leave with stronger materials, clearer language for conversations and interviews, and increased confidence in how you communicate your background and interests. Session 5: Building Momentum The final session is about turning decisions into action. We outline concrete next steps, outreach priorities, and a plan to maintain momentum after our formal sessions end. You will leave with a 30- to 90-day action plan, a clear approach to networking and outreach, and confidence in how to move forward. How I Support You Between Sessions Between sessions, I provide resume and messaging feedback as needed, share relevant opportunities when I see strong alignment, and make introductions when there is a good mutual fit. Once we are working together, I stay attentive to roles, industries, and people that may support your next step.

Ex-McKinsey Coach Helping Consultants Design Their Next Chapter
I work with consultants at moments of transition who want clarity and intention in deciding what comes next. Some clients are focused on making their experience within consulting feel more aligned and sustainable. Others are beginning to think seriously about what could come next and want space to evaluate their options thoughtfully. As a former McKinsey consultant, I bring a structured, practical coaching style grounded in real experience. After consulting, I transitioned into a non-traditional field I was genuinely excited about: food manufacturing. Yes, really. That move did not happen overnight. It took determination, conviction, and self-awareness to keep both a broad and a focused view of my options and to assess opportunities thoughtfully rather than jumping to the next obvious choice. Along the way, I had to navigate the pull of many compelling options, including private equity roles, business school, and the usual suspects. During that time, I created frameworks to help myself get clear on what I cared about, what I was good at, and what I wanted to begin building long term. I now use those same frameworks to help other consultants make intentional decisions about their own paths. My niche is helping consultants slow down enough to ask the right questions and turn the answers into clear, actionable next steps. In our work together, we often explore questions like: What am I actually good at? What parts of my work do I enjoy, and which parts drain me? What skills, environments, and problems energize me most? What do I want to begin building for myself over time? From there, the work becomes practical and action-oriented. I help clients build conviction around their interests and the momentum to make meaningful career changes. My work includes refining messaging, strengthening resumes, reviewing job search strategies, preparing for interviews, and positioning experience clearly. I believe strongly in the power of networking. Throughout our time working together and beyond I will make industry connections and stay on the lookout for opportunities that match my client’s interests and strengths. If you are a consultant looking for a thoughtful partner as you navigate what comes next, I would love to work together.
