Description

This package is a focused 1:1 strategy session designed to help you build a standout application for your UK Master's programme of choice - strengthening your personal statement, positioning, and overall application strategy. Getting into a competitive UK Master's isn't about ticking every box - it's about presenting a clear, well-evidenced case for why you and this specific programme are the right fit. In this session, we focus on exactly that. We'll cover: 1. Personal Statement Narrative & Positioning: We'll define your core motivation and "why this programme", ensuring your personal statement is clear, specific, and compelling. 2. Academic & Professional Fit: We'll identify your strongest academic and professional experiences and refine how you present them to demonstrate genuine fit with your target programme(s). 3. Programme & University Selection: We'll pressure-test your shortlist, making sure your choices reflect your goals and give you the strongest realistic chance of admission. 4. Reference Strategy: We'll discuss how to brief your referees so their letters reinforce your personal statement. 5. High-Impact Improvements: You'll leave with clear, actionable steps on what to change to strengthen your application. Ahead of the session, you can share your CV, personal statement drafts, or application materials for review. Schwarzman Scholar & King's alum coaching UK Master's applicants

I work with applicants targeting competitive Master's programmes at UK universities, with a particular focus on healthcare, policy, global affairs, and social sciences. I've completed three Master's-level qualifications, two of which were in the UK - an MSc in China & Globalisation at King's College London, and a fully-funded Master's in Healthcare Leadership (jointly delivered by the Universities of Birmingham and Manchester). Between them, I've navigated everything from a highly competitive academic social sciences programme to a funded, vocational leadership Master's designed for practising public health sector professionals - so I understand how differently these applications need to be approached depending on the programme type. I also completed my undergraduate degree, a BSc in Political Economy, at King's College London, where I served as a student ambassador, supporting prospective and incoming students through the application process itself. I bring the same structured, strategic approach to every client: understanding what a specific programme and admissions panel is actually looking for, then helping you build a personal statement and application that reflects your genuine strengths clearly and compellingly, rather than a generic template.
