About Ricky
I’m an incoming 2027 Summer Analyst with BlackRock’s Financial Institutions Group, but my journey began without Wall Street connections or a clear roadmap. At Penn State, I taught myself how to build genuine relationships, turn cold outreach into warm conversations, strengthen my résumé, and perform confidently in competitive interviews. That discipline helped me earn a sophomore internship in Private Wealth Management at Raymond James and ultimately secure my BlackRock offer. I understand what it takes to create opportunities from the ground up, and I now use that firsthand experience to help other ambitious students do the same.
Why do I coach?
I coach because talented students should not have to navigate finance recruiting alone. I know how overwhelming it can feel when you lack connections, direction, or someone willing to give you honest feedback. My goal is to shorten that learning curve by providing the practical strategy and personalized guidance I wish I had—helping students approach networking, résumés, and interviews with a clear plan and genuine confidence.
