About Reyan Eda

I spent about ten years in the Bay Area tech industry then went to Harvard Business School for my MBA. Most of the people I work with come from outside the traditional MBA pipeline: engineers, researchers, liberal arts majors applying to top programs.

Why do I coach?

I coach because talent is spread evenly and opportunity isn't. Knowing how to present yourself on paper is a skill people usually pick up by being around others who have already done it, and many strong candidates haven't had the luxury, access, or privilege of being near that. The gap isn't ability, it's language: knowing which part of your life and work to lead with, and what a reader will count as evidence. An essay doesn't get into a program, the candidate does, but the essay is the only version of you the reader ever sees. You probably already have the story. What I do is help you say it in words the admissions committee will actually register.
