About Rasheedah

I’m grateful to have found my way into recruiting—it became the place where my experience, intuition, and love for people all came together. Over the past 15+ years, my career has taken me across financial services, higher education, K–12, nonprofits, and tech, giving me a front‑row seat to how talent grows, evolves, and finds its way. That journey taught me the power of transferable skills and the truth I now coach from: if I could navigate these transitions, you can too. I’m unapologetically proud to be a first‑generation college graduate. That part of my story shaped my resourcefulness, my resilience, and my commitment to creating opportunities for people who mirror my younger self—ambitious, capable, and just needing someone to help them see what’s possible. As a current mid‑level manager and former director, I know what it feels like to be stuck, uncertain, or ready for more but unsure of the next step. I’ve lived those moments, and I bring that lived experience into every coaching relationship. My approach is grounded, strategic, and human. I’m here to be your sounding board, your accountability partner, and your guide as you navigate career pivots, leadership growth, or the transition into spaces you’ve never seen modeled before. Whether you’re early in your career, coming from a non‑traditional path, or stepping into leadership, I meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be—with clarity, confidence, and a coaching style that honors your identity and your goals. No matter your background or starting point, you deserve a path that feels aligned and attainable. I’m here to walk that path with you.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I know what it feels like to navigate the world of work without a roadmap. And not just work—I understand the uphill climb of getting into college and graduate school, the pressure of trying to “get it right,” and the belief that if I could just do this one thing, everything would finally turn around. I’ve lived that mix of hope, ambition, and uncertainty. Trust me, I get it. Along the way, mentors, leaders, and a few kind recruiters helped me see possibilities I couldn’t yet name. Their support changed the trajectory of my life, and it’s a gift I’m committed to paying forward. Every transition I made required courage, clarity, and a willingness to reinvent myself. Those experiences taught me the power of transferable skills and the importance of having someone in your corner who understands both the emotional and strategic sides of career growth. That’s why coaching matters to me—it’s not just about landing a job. It’s about helping people step into identities, opportunities, and rooms they once thought were out of reach. I coach because I’ve been the early‑career professional trying to break in, the non‑traditional candidate proving my value, and the mid‑level leader wondering what’s next. I know the stuck moments, the quiet doubts, and the desire for an accountability partner who truly gets it. Coaching is my way of offering the support I once needed—and making sure no one has to navigate their journey alone.

Head of Early Careers Recruitment Delivery

Pfizer

April 2023 - Present

I lead the recruitment strategy, onboarding experience, and first‑year development journey for Pfizer Digital’s flagship Rotational Program, supporting early‑career talent as they move from campus to corporate across the U.S. and Greece. My work is all about building inclusive pipelines, strengthening partnerships, and creating a seamless experience for new hires—from the moment they accept their offer through their first year on the team. I coach and mentor associates as they navigate their transition, helping them build confidence, understand expectations, and grow into their next role. Along the way, I’ve focused on making our processes clearer, more human, and easier to navigate, while elevating the program’s visibility and strengthening the pathways that help talent thrive.

Senior Recruiter & Interim Associate Director of Talent Acquisition

University of Pennsylvania

March 2022 - April 2023

At Penn, I stepped into a fast‑moving, high‑stakes environment and helped bring steadiness to a hiring operation that really needed it. As Senior Recruiter and Interim Associate Director, I supported talent strategy across 76 academic and administrative departments, managing a small team while partnering closely with deans and senior leaders to navigate urgent workforce needs. My focus was on making the hiring process clearer, more consistent, and more people‑centered—streamlining how work moved, strengthening onboarding with thoughtful 30‑60‑90 day toolkits, and collaborating with HR leadership to refine sourcing strategy and workforce planning. At the end of the day, I wanted candidates to feel seen, hiring managers to feel supported, and teams to feel like they finally had a process they could trust. That work helped rebuild alignment, improve communication, and set the foundation for a more sustainable, human approach to talent across the division.

Senior University Recruiter

AVEVA

June 2021 - March 2022

At AVEVA, I led university and technical recruiting across engineering, product, and business teams, building a more intentional and scalable approach to how early‑career talent entered the organization. I focused on expanding access, strengthening representation, and building meaningful partnerships with universities and affinity groups, while also elevating the company’s presence through virtual events and storytelling that resonated with emerging talent. The work helped bridge the gap between higher education and industry, creating smoother pathways for students and early‑career professionals to step into roles where they could grow, contribute, and feel supported. It also deepened my belief that campus recruiting is more than a hiring function—it’s a powerful way to shape opportunity, nurture potential, and prepare the next generation of talent for what’s ahead.

Academic Advisor

Delaware County Community College

October 2019 - June 2021

At Delaware County Community College, I served as an academic and college advisor supporting a wide range of students—including first‑generation, adult, and dual‑enrollment learners—as they navigated their academic journeys and big life decisions. I focused on personalized planning, transfer support, and using data in a human way to understand when students needed extra care or guidance. I strengthened early‑warning systems, redesigned intake processes to make support easier to access, and built resource pathways that blended structure with genuine relational trust. At the core, my work was about helping students feel seen, supported, and capable as they moved through complex academic and personal challenges, and giving them the confidence to take their next step forward

Director of Workforce Development

YouthBuild Global

August 2018 - September 2019

At YouthBuild Philadelphia, I led career pathway programming for opportunity youth across multiple industry tracks, helping students build the skills, confidence, and connections they needed to step into meaningful work. I guided a dedicated team and partnered closely with employers to align curriculum with real labor‑market needs, expand access to apprenticeships and internships, and create hands‑on learning experiences that felt both relevant and empowering. My work centered on equity, belonging, and designing programs that honored the lived experiences of systemically underestimated young people. At its core, this role was about opening doors, strengthening pathways, and helping students see themselves as capable of futures they once weren’t sure were possible.
