Rachel’s MBA Qualifications
10+ people coached for MBA
I'm a current MBA student at Stanford Graduate School of Business who was accepted through the deferred/2+2 MBA program. In the past 4 years, I’ve successfully advised 18+ individuals who were admitted to Stanford GSB, Harvard Business School, and Wharton for deferred and regular round admissions and I’m passionate about helping others get into their dream business schools! Before business school, I was a management consultant at BCG and later worked in marketing strategy at Eli Lilly. I earned my degree in chemistry with highest honors from UC Berkeley's College of Chemistry, and I understand firsthand what it takes to pivot from a STEM background into consulting and business. Since I was admitted to Stanford GSB, HBS, Wharton, and MIT through their 2+2/deferred admissions programs, I feel particularly passionate about helping college seniors with this admissions process (esp. ones coming from STEM backgrounds!). However, I also have extensive recent experience advising my consulting peers through the admissions process - helping them draft their narrative and revise their essays to help them stand out from the crowd of consultants applying for business school. When we work together, I’ll partner closely with you to chart out your most compelling MBA narrative—drawing from my own journey, my experience coaching others, and insights from countless conversations with classmates about what helped them stand out in MBA admissions. I’ll help you not just polish your application, but build the confidence and clarity to tell your story in a way that resonates with admissions officers and interviewers.

About Rachel
I help ambitious professionals and students craft a clear path to their dream careers. My journey started in chemistry at UC Berkeley before I pivoted to management consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). There, I applied the same analytical, problem-solving skills I honed in the lab to complex business challenges in biopharma and healthcare. Along the way, I was accepted into top deferred MBA programs, including Stanford GSB, Harvard Business School, Wharton, and MIT Sloan. I know exactly what it takes to navigate the competitive world of consulting and top-tier MBA admissions because I've done it myself. Now, as an MBA student at Stanford, I'm passionate about coaching others to achieve similar goals. Whether you're aiming for a role at BCG or a spot at a top MBA program, I can help you: 1. Strategically frame your unique story to stand out from the crowd. 2. Break down complex case interviews and essay prompts. 3. Build a roadmap that transforms your ambition into reality. Let's work together!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I want to give back and help others achieve their ambitious goals. My own path, from studying chemistry at UC Berkeley to management consulting at BCG, and now to Stanford GSB, was shaped by mentors who believed in me and offered invaluable guidance. I know firsthand how daunting career pivots can be, especially when shifting from a science or engineering background into consulting or business. Having gone through that transition myself, I’ve helped many others navigate it too-whether breaking into top consulting firms like McKinsey and BCG, or gaining admission to leading MBA programs such as Stanford GSB and Harvard Business School. For me, coaching isn’t just about sharing insights, it’s about helping people recognize their own potential, navigate uncertainty with confidence, and build a strategy that makes bold pivots possible. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone overcome the same challenges I once faced and create a future that feels both authentic and ambitious.
