I’m a Harvard Business School graduate who got in on sheer grit — no family connections, no employer sponsorship, and definitely no 760 GMAT. In fact, I took the test eight times and ended up with a 690. I wasn’t the obvious admit. I didn’t come from a mega fund. I wasn’t a check the box candidate. But I understood the formula — and once you understand how HBS and the GSB really make decisions, your chances of admission increase exponentially. There’s a strategy to this process that most applicants — and even many coaches — miss. I’ve lived it. I’ve helped others do it. And I only work with people who are truly serious about winning. This is not a volume game. It's about positioning, storytelling, and playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. If you want someone who can tell you the truth, help you find your edge, and drive real outcomes, I’m your coach.

About Rachel
Hi! I’m Rachel — originally from Southern California, now living in the wild world of New York City where I work in finance. My path to business school was anything but linear. I took the GMAT eight times, got rejected by consultants who said I didn’t fit the mold, and waited an extra cycle to apply with the strongest possible application. That persistence paid off: I was accepted to both HBS and GSB. I’ve lived at both (happy to share the full story when we work together!) and have a deep understanding of what it takes to get in — and thrive — at each program. I’m passionate about helping others navigate the same journey. I bring structure, enthusiasm, and honesty to every coaching relationship and love working with people who are ready to put in the work to achieve big goals.
Why do I coach?
I was not the typical business school applicant. While my resume is decorated with the logos you assume all top business school want to see, my GMAT was low for the top programs, my employer wasn't supportive of business school, and I didn't have much guidance throughout the process. I felt completely lost and wished I had someone to help me see around corners and offer a bit of moral support. I am here to do that for you. My personal story is what got me into HBS and GSB, and I am an expert in positioning your application to make you stand out in the admission's officers eyes. Whether you are in Private Equity in New York or product in San Francisco, I have the playbook to help you land your dream school.
