About Rachel
Hi! My name is Rachel Kulchar, and I’m currently a DMD/PhD student in Oral Biology at UCLA and the NIH. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Princeton University, with minors in Global Health & Health Policy and Materials Science & Engineering. Over the past five years, I’ve been deeply involved in research full-time—publishing more than 20 original manuscripts in high-impact journals and completing my undergraduate thesis with honors. My current research leverages single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to understand how cancer therapies impact the salivary glands. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to gain admission to many of the top dental, graduate PhD, and undergraduate programs, and I’m excited to share my experience and work with you!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how much difference the right support can make. I’ve had mentors who guided me through tough choices and helped me see opportunities I might have missed. Their impact stuck with me, and now I want to give that back. For me, coaching is about walking alongside you—helping you sort through challenges, discover what excites you, and find the career and life path that feels right. My goal is to cheer you on, hold you accountable, and make sure you feel equipped and confident to take your next step.
