Rachael’s Marketing Qualifications

Experience level: Director

I’m a growth and product marketing leader with 15+ years of experience building and scaling customer-focused marketing programs at some of the world’s leading consumer technology companies, including Airbnb, Instagram, Facebook, eBay, and Hims & Hers. My background spans lifecycle marketing, CRM, product marketing, growth strategy, and launching new consumer experiences at scale across both fast-growing and globally recognized brands. What gives me energy is finding the balance between art and science in marketing. I love bringing structure to chaos, whether that means solving an organizational challenge, untangling a complex customer problem, building a scalable marketing system, or helping teams align around a clearer strategy and vision. Much of my career has been centered around building from 0 to 1, creating processes where they do not yet exist, and helping companies scale thoughtfully without losing the human element. While my work has focused heavily on technology, AI, personalization, and data-driven optimization, I’ve always believed the best marketing starts with understanding people. That philosophy shapes how I lead teams, partner cross-functionally, and think about the customer experience. I care deeply about creating collaborative environments, building trust across teams, and helping marketers develop both strategic confidence and authentic leadership styles. Throughout my career, I’ve led global product launches, built CRM and personalization programs from the ground up, and partnered closely with product, creative, data science, and executive teams to drive measurable business growth. I especially enjoy helping marketers think more strategically about customer journeys, storytelling, positioning, lifecycle engagement, and how to use AI in ways that still feel personal, thoughtful, and customer-first. Whether you’re navigating career growth, stepping into leadership, building a marketing strategy, or trying to connect the dots between brand, product, and performance marketing, I bring practical experience, honest guidance, and a people-first approach to every conversation.

About Rachael

I’m a first-generation U.S. citizen and have always been drawn to storytelling and understanding what makes people connect with ideas. That curiosity started early. Writing was my first passion. I launched my first email newsletter in 7th grade, became editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper, and started a zine while studying at NYU. My first job at a music magazine brought things full circle when I helped build and manage the daily email newsletter. That is where I first got hooked on CRM, especially the ability to automate communication, see performance in real time, and better understand customer behavior through data. Over the past decade, I have built a career across CRM and lifecycle marketing in a range of environments, from an email marketing agency where I spent 10 years growing global CRM teams, to leading large-scale programs at eBay. I have also explored adjacent areas of marketing, including product marketing where I helped build e-commerce experiences from the ground up at Facebook and Instagram, and integrated marketing at Airbnb. Across all of it, I have been focused on connecting customer insight to meaningful, scalable growth. Today, I am back to what I love most, leading CRM at Hims & Hers, where I get to bring together everything I have learned to build high-growth lifecycle programs and shape the customer experience as an extension of the product. Outside of work, I am a mom of two incredible girls. I love pop culture, especially anything Bravo-related, and I have a long-standing love-hate relationship with running that I keep going back to anyway.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I have seen firsthand how much clarity, confidence, and momentum the right guidance can create at pivotal moments in a career. Throughout my own journey, I have been fortunate to learn from strong mentors and leaders who helped me see possibilities I would not have recognized on my own. Early in my career, especially as I was moving from traditional CRM roles into broader marketing leadership, I often found myself navigating ambiguity, stepping into new disciplines, and building teams in unfamiliar contexts. The most valuable support I received in those moments was not answers, but perspective. People who helped me zoom out, identify patterns, and trust my own judgment while sharpening it. I also know what it feels like to take risks across different disciplines. Moving from CRM into product marketing at Facebook and Instagram, and then into integrated marketing at Airbnb, required me to constantly reframe my experience and translate my skills into new environments. Those transitions were exciting, but also uncomfortable at times. Having mentors who could help me connect the dots across those experiences made a meaningful difference in how quickly I was able to grow and lead. Now, as a leader myself, I see coaching as a way to pay that forward. I especially enjoy working with people in marketing and CRM who are trying to break into leadership roles, pivot into new areas, or scale their impact in fast-moving companies. I also care deeply about helping people build careers that feel intentional, not accidental, especially in environments where growth can happen quickly and expectations are high. Coaching, to me, is about helping someone see their own trajectory more clearly and giving them the tools and confidence to move forward with purpose.
