About Pranav
I'm a former Goldman Sachs TMT investment banker in San Francisco, where I worked on technology M&A and IPOs after lateraling from Guggenheim's TMT team. That path gives me firsthand experience with both breaking into banking and making a competitive move once inside the industry. TMT is my deepest sector lens, not a requirement for working together. I coach candidates across industry coverage, M&A, capital markets, and other banking teams by adapting firm, transaction, technical, and interview preparation to their actual targets. The goal is not to memorize scripts. It is to understand companies and deals, build technical judgment, and communicate clearly when the follow-up questions get harder.
Why do I coach?
Investment banking recruiting is unusually opaque, and small mistakes compound quickly. I benefited from mentors who gave me direct feedback, exposed the real standard, and helped me focus on the work that mattered. I coach to compress that learning curve for others. Every session should identify the actual bottleneck, improve the candidate's execution, and end with concrete next steps.
