About Pilar
I'm Pilar Alfonso Rico, founder of Gogotechy, a career coach & interview prep platform for people breaking into tech (for tech & non-tech roles). After 10 years working in tech (Google, Meta & TikTok) I have decided to leave corp to focus in career coaching. I also teach at IE & IESE university, since founding Gogotechy, I've coached more than 300 professionals through their job search, helping them position themselves clearly, prepare for high-stakes interviews, and land offers at leading tech companies.
Why do I coach?
- Talent isn't the bottleneck. Knowing the rules of the hiring game is. - I watched talented people lose out to candidates who simply played the game better, over and over, and that's what pushed me to coach. - Those rules are learnable. That's why I built the NAILED methodology instead of handing out generic advice.
