Admissions process is competitive. There will be hundreds, if not thousands of applicants with similar GPAs and standardized test scores. What makes an applicant stand out is the ability to deliver a compelling and unique story, one that will convince an admissions committee that you are a great fit for the culture, capable of contributing to the community, and have a purpose and vision that goes beyond chasing the prestige associated with the school. I graduated from international schools in Korea and boarding school in the U.S., and attended both Stanford undergrad and law school. I've helped numerous students attend their dream schools.
