About Nina
I graduated with my MD from Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and have been tutoring the USMLE Step 1 exam full-time for the past 2 years. I developed a systematic method for preparing for this exam that has helped all of my students succeed, including those with previous unsuccessful attempts. My tutoring goes beyond content review and helps you understand why certain answers are more correct over answers, and incorporates developing memory tools that are specific to how you learn.
Why do I coach?
I struggled with preparing for the USMLE Step 1 exam during medical school. I delayed it until I was in a time crunch, which was pretty stressful. Despite the circumstances, I quickly developed a way to learn and understand the content on the NBMEs and developed a method to preparing for the exam that helped me boost my scores quickly, ultimately leading to a pass. This is the exact method I teach my students that is adaptable to what they need to learn.
