I worked with Drs. Joseph LaManna and Kui Xu in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics to examine the impacts of oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations on brain capillary physiology in an effort to understand the impacts of suffocation on brain function.

I worked with Dr. Raymond Liu in the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery to examine the relationships between lumbar and pelvic parameters like pedicle divergence and pelvic incidence in an effort to discover new predictors for stress fractures and degenerative diseases in the pelvis, hip, and lower back.
