Bottom line: I bring 15 years of front-office Wall Street experience and a 10 year track record of helping 600+ clients land their next roles. A little about me: I was a structured finance investment banker for 15 years, first at Merrill Lynch, then at Credit Suisse. I worked on high-stakes deals, earned well, and kept moving up. But after a while, the cracks started showing: brutal hours, declining health, and barely any time with my wife and kids. Still, I stayed, for the comp and the comfort of what I knew. A move to Credit Suisse gave me a fresh start, a new team, better pay, but the deeper questions didn’t go away. Eventually, I was laid off. For the first time since college, I had to stop and figure out what was next. I spoke with hundreds of professionals, explored new paths, and landed in a 400-person FinTech. That pivot opened my eyes. Today, I help finance professionals do what I wish I’d done sooner: take control of their job search before the market forces them to.
