Package Description:

This package is designed for individuals who have been invited as a Schwarzman Scholars Finalist for the in-person interview portion of the selection process. If you've made it this far, a huge congratulations are in order, as you overcame substantial odds already (invitations to this stage tend to be extended to <6% of the applicant pool). However, the hardest part is yet to come! But I'm here to help you navigate what will most definitely be one of the most unforgettable days of your life. This coaching offering focuses exclusively on interview preparation support, namely through live mock interviews, which include oral and written feedback on your performance, suggestions on how to refine your responses to showcase your profile in a compelling fashion, and strategies on tackling the notoriously challenging 'Global Affairs Question'. The coaching time input required for conducting one mock interview is 90 minutes in total, with the following breakdown: 20 minutes for asynchronous (re)-reviewing of your application and preparing challenging questions that probe a range of facets of your background and written materials; 60 minutes for a live mock interview session, which will follow the exact format that the program uses (1 minute self-introduction, ~19 minutes Q&A, and 5 minutes for the Global Affairs question); and then ~35 minutes for discussing oral feedback after the mock interview is completed. I will take very detailed notes on your responses, generate tailored recommendations for improvement, and then share that document with you for your reference afterwards, which takes 10 minutes to do a full-write up. Sessions are able to be recorded if you would like, such that you can re-watch the interview for help processing feedback and identifying further areas of improvement. I generally recommend doing at least 2-3 mock interviews in total, at a cadence of roughly one per week. Invitations will be sent roughly 3 weeks before the actual interview date, affording you ample time to prepare. There are different 'tiers' available for this package, with the price reflecting the standard time input multiplied by the number of mock interviews you wish to complete.
