Maximilian ’s MBA Qualifications
I have successfully navigated highly competitive university, MBA, and consulting recruitment processes across the UK, US, and Germany. I was admitted to the Wharton Deferred MBA programme, completed a First-Class undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford, and received a full scholarship for my Oxford MSc. I have also secured consulting offers from McKinsey, BCG, ClearView Healthcare Partners, and ZS, completed internships at BCG and Merck Inhouse Consulting, and received full-time BCG offers in both London and Munich. In parallel, I have mentored more than 15 students from underrepresented backgrounds through successful applications to leading universities in the UK and US. My coaching helps applicants build a clear personal narrative, identify their strongest differentiators, and translate academic, extracurricular, and professional experiences into compelling CVs, essays, personal statements, scholarship applications, and interview answers. I provide structured, candid, and highly actionable feedback, with particular expertise in Oxford admissions, deferred MBA applications, consulting-oriented career narratives, and internationally competitive university applications.

About Maximilian
My academic and professional journey has taken me through highly competitive university, postgraduate, MBA, and consulting selection processes across the UK, US, and Germany. At undergraduate level, I received offers from the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, and New York University. For master’s study, I received offers from Oxford, Cambridge, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, San Francisco. I ultimately completed my undergraduate degree at Oxford with First-Class honours and returned for an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology on a full scholarship. I was also admitted to the Wharton Deferred MBA programme and have worked as an academic tutor for undergraduate biomedical sciences and preclinical medicine at Oxford. Professionally, I secured consulting offers from McKinsey, BCG, ClearView Healthcare Partners, and ZS, completed internships at BCG and Merck Inhouse Consulting, and received full-time BCG offers in both London and Munich. Alongside my own applications, I have mentored more than 15 students from underrepresented backgrounds through successful applications to leading universities in the UK and US. These experiences have given me a detailed understanding of what differentiates strong candidates in competitive admissions and recruitment processes. My coaching focuses on helping applicants build a clear and distinctive personal narrative, identify their strongest differentiators, and translate their academic, extracurricular, and professional experiences into compelling CVs, essays, personal statements, scholarship applications, and interview answers. I provide structured, candid, and highly actionable feedback across undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, deferred MBA applications, and consulting recruitment.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how transformative the right guidance can be. At several points in my academic and professional journey, mentors helped me see strengths I had overlooked, communicate my experiences more effectively, and approach high-stakes applications with greater clarity and confidence. Their support often made the difference between simply having strong experiences and knowing how to present them convincingly. I now want to offer that same combination of perspective, structure, and honest feedback to others. My goal is to help applicants make better strategic decisions, avoid preventable mistakes, and present an application that is both authentic and compelling. Coaching, to me, is not about imposing a formula; it is about helping each person recognise their strongest story and communicate it with precision.
