About Mateusz

I’m a Harvard Law admit with additional offers from top programs like NYU Law. Before law school, I spent four years working as a software engineer at a major tech company, where I also conducted dozens of interviews and mentored peers. Outside of work, I’ve mentored dozens of first-generation college students through America Needs You, helping them secure internships and navigate professional development. I’ve also guided applicants through every step of the law school admissions process — from crafting compelling personal statements to preparing for interviews — and I know how to help candidates shape a cohesive, standout application. Whether you're applying straight from undergrad or pivoting from another career, I can help you position your unique story in a way that resonates with top law schools.

Why do I coach?

I want to coach because I know firsthand how transformative the right guidance can be. I come from a low-income family, and throughout high school and college, I relied heavily on the support and mentorship of others, from family members to teachers to professional mentors, to help me navigate unfamiliar systems and opportunities. I wouldn’t be where I am today without that support. Now that I’ve gone through the law school admissions process and reached places like Harvard and NYU Law, I feel a responsibility to pay it forward. I understand how overwhelming and opaque this process can be, especially for students who don’t have access to insider knowledge or resources. Coaching is one way I can help level the playing field and ensure that talented applicants don’t fall through the cracks.
