About Manny

I'm an alumni of UChicago Booth, who was a co-chair of our Management Consulting Practice. My post-MBA career spans being a top-rated consultant at McKinsey & Company, with direct interviewing expertise, a Vice President at a $1B+ AUM Private Equity Fund, and now a CFO of a growing national disaster recovery business. Throughout my personal and professional journey, I have had a passion for mentorship and helping others succeed and hope to help you get into your dream school! At Booth I was a Management Consulting Club co-chair, helping many Boothies draft resumes, navigate the recruitment process, and prepare for interviews. Prior to Booth I had 3 years of private equity experience (2 as an investment team associate and 1 as interim-CFO of a portfolio company) and 3 years of M&A consulting experience. Additionally, I am an immigrant , so I am very familiar with both US culture and helping bridge the cultural gap as an immigrant. Given my background, I am passionate on helping individuals with a finance or consulting background from around the world, as I can best help those profiles highlight their experiences (happy to help if you are not of that professional background but want to be honest about my skillset and that there are plenty of amazing coaches who may be better suited). Personally, I am an avid cook and snowboarder!
