About Lovell
For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of leading teams, developing leaders, and helping people navigate some of the biggest transitions of their careers. My path has taken me from entry-level roles to the executive suite, ultimately serving as EVP of Commercial Strategy for two of the nation's largest hotel management companies before launching my own consulting and executive coaching practice. While I've led large organizations and advised executives, I believe the most meaningful growth happens through authentic one-on-one conversations. Every successful career has moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and reinvention I know because I've lived them. I've experienced seasons where I questioned what was next, faced difficult leadership decisions, navigated organizational change, and discovered that our greatest growth often comes from the challenges we never expected. My coaching philosophy is simple: I don't believe in creating leaders who look like me. I believe in helping people become the most confident, authentic version of themselves. Whether you're pursuing your first leadership role, preparing for an executive position, navigating a career transition, or trying to determine your next chapter, my role is to ask the right questions, challenge limiting beliefs, and help you build a practical path forward. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I combine executive-level strategy with genuine encouragement. I'm direct when needed, but I also understand that careers are deeply personal. Decisions about leadership, purpose, and growth are rarely just about work, they're about the life you want to build. Outside of coaching, I'm a keynote speaker, author, podcast host, and lifelong learner who is passionate about leadership, faith, and helping others discover what's possible. I live on the coast of North Carolina with my husband, Lenny, and our spirited Schnoodle, Maggie. Whether I'm interviewing inspiring guests for my podcast, Unshakable with Lovell Casiero, writing, speaking, or enjoying a walk by the ocean, I'm continually reminded that resilience, purpose, and authentic leadership are built one step at a time. If you're looking for someone who has sat in the executive chair, understands the realities of leadership, and is genuinely invested in helping you succeed, I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it's like to have potential that hasn't fully been realized and how transformative it can be when someone helps you see what you're capable of. Throughout my career, I was fortunate to have leaders who challenged me, opened doors, and believed in me before I fully believed in myself. I also experienced the opposite: moments of self-doubt, difficult setbacks, and seasons where I had to navigate uncertainty without a clear roadmap. Those experiences shaped not only the leader I became, but the coach I am today. Coaching allows me to invest in people at one of the most important moments of their journey when they're ready to grow. Whether someone is pursuing a promotion, changing careers, stepping into executive leadership, or simply trying to gain clarity about what's next, I love helping them move from uncertainty to confidence and from potential to purposeful action. I don't measure success by how many people I coach. I measure it by the confidence they gain, the opportunities they create, and the leaders they become. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone accomplish something they once believed was out of reach. At the heart of my coaching is a simple belief: authentic leadership isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming the person you were created to be and leading with confidence, integrity, and purpose.
Work Experience
SVP of Commercial Strategies
PM Hotel Group
January 2019 - December 2025
Interviewer
At PM Hotel Group, I served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy, leading the company's commercial organization across sales, revenue management, digital marketing, distribution, and eCommerce. Partnering directly with the CEO and executive leadership team, I developed strategies that drove revenue growth, enhanced owner value, and positioned the company for long-term success across a portfolio of branded and independent hotels. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role was building and mentoring high-performing leaders. I led a team of vice presidents and senior commercial executives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Whether coaching emerging leaders or seasoned executives, I was passionate about helping people expand their leadership capacity, navigate complex business challenges, and achieve results they didn't think were possible. That commitment to developing people remains the foundation of my coaching today.
EVP of Sales, Marketing, & Revenue Optimization
Crescent Hotels
October 2005 - October 2015
Interviewer
At Crescent Hotels & Resorts, I served as Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management, leading commercial strategy across a diverse portfolio of full-service and luxury hotels. I partnered closely with hotel owners and executive teams to drive revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, and build high-performing commercial organizations. Beyond the business results, my greatest accomplishment was developing leaders. I coached sales, marketing, and revenue professionals to think strategically, lead with confidence, and prepare for the next step in their careers. That experience reinforced my belief that sustainable success comes from investing in people just as much as performance.
