Breaking into investment banking from a non-target school isn't easy — I know because I’ve done it. With the support of mentors and upperclassmen, I earned a summer analyst role in investment banking and later returned full-time. I currently work as an Investment Banking Analyst at Guggenheim Partners in Chicago, where I focus on M&A. Back on campus following my internship, I led my school's investment banking and finance clubs, helping over 20 students secure internships — a 150% increase from the previous year.
