Package Description:

This package is a series of five sessions intended to simulate the end-to-end process of interviewing with a private equity firm. I have conducted several interview processes for megafunds while in my investment banking role and will ensure you feel like you’re actually going through the process. Here’s what we’ll cover, which will include case resources for interviews and models, as well as my personal PE handbook and resources that I used for interviewing: - Session One (30 min.): The Informational Interview/Coffee Chat - We’ll discuss the process of preparing for and succeeding in an informational interview that you’ll lead with a professional at one of your target firms. - Session Two (1 hr.): “Fit” Interview #1 - We’ll mimic a behavioral interview that will focus on what PE investors will ask you in the interview, which is very different than banking. They want to see that you are intellectually curious and how you think. - Session Three (2 hr.): "Technical" Interview #1 - We’ll simulate a technical interview which will include paper LBO, market sizing, business intuition, and more. - Session Four (2 hr.): Case Interview #2 - We’ll simulate a case interview where I will give you a CIM and you will write a memo, and then we will discuss your thoughts on the investments as would occur in a typical PE interview. - Session Five (2 hr): Financial Model - you will build a financial model based on a set of instructions and assumptions and we will review together In addition to the live session time, I will provide you with a FAQ banking question guide I have compiled. This guide includes 15 commonly asked behavioral questions and 20 commonly asked technical questions.
