About Justin
I help ambitious candidates break into consulting, strategy, and enterprise tech without relying on the traditional pipeline: no target school with on-campus recruiting, no MBA. Every role I’ve landed, and nearly every offer my clients have secured, has come through strategic networking, not job boards or cold applications. I’m a first-generation college graduate from a non-target school who built my career at Deloitte, Kearney, and Beamery, and now serve on the global customer strategy team at Workday. My clients have landed roles in consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, EY), tech (Workday, Salesforce), and banking (Capital One, Mastercard), among others. They typically come to me when the standard path isn’t working, or when they’re ready to stop competing on credentials and start winning on strategy: by building a strong network of advocates inside the organizations and teams they want to join.
Why do I coach?
I coach because most job search advice is well intentioned, but not very useful. I have been so fortunate to have coaches that have helped me to break through the noise and find advice that works, I'm excited to use those learnings to help others. One unfortunate reality is that consulting and enterprise tech are still largely built around target schools and MBA pipelines, where firms come to you. If you do not have that, the system often assumes you are not competitive. I have seen that firsthand, and it is simply not true. A lot of coaching misses because it is outdated. Many coaches have not actually been in the market themselves in years, sometimes decades. Over the last five years, I have recruited into roles in consulting and enterprise tech (8 offers total, 4 roles), built my career without a target school background, and grown my comp by 3x since my first role. I have coached 50+ people through case prep, behavioral interviews, and negotiation. I also use AI in every engagement because candidates who do not are already behind. Layoffs happen. Long unemployment does not have to. The people who recover fastest are the ones who built real networks before they needed them and kept them warm. That is what I help with: building a career strategy that compounds, not one that resets every time the market shifts. Whether you are job searching, pivoting, or staying ready, I help you turn networking into leverage and momentum into outcomes.
