About Julia

Hi, I’m Julia! I applied to business school from a non-traditional background - manufacturing. I spent four years working at General Motors, working in New Business Development, Audit, and Sales & Marketing. After completing the finance track, I joined the company's incubator as a Business Development Senior. During my role in the GM Incubator, I applied to business school and was admitted to both schools I applied to: Chicago Booth and MIT Sloan. (I also scored in the 99th percentile on the GMAT and received scholarships to both Booth and Sloan.) Upon receiving my acceptances, I decided to defer in order to pursue my passion for Venture Capital. I currently work in Venture Capital at Panoramic Ventures in Atlanta, Georgia. As an applicant, I didn’t have a professional coach, so I understand what it takes to successfully narrow down school selection, score in the top percentile on the GMAT, and write persuasive essays. Having competed in speech and debate throughout high school, I know how to prepare and master the interviewing process. I am a flexible coach and willing to meet applicants where they are. I worked in the admissions department at Duke University and am willing to provide support wherever applicants need and want it.
