About Jorrel
Been in tech industry for 8+ years ever since coming out of my alma mater, UC Berkeley. I've worked across nearly every high impact industry in Operations, Data, and Product functions, which I strongly leverage into my entrepreneurship philosophy. I started my first company, a data consultancy in 2021 and built a six-figure ARR business. I later started a YC-backed company in 2022 and raised a multi-million dollar seed round from Tier 1 VCs with nearly 12 strategic investors on our cap table. In 2024, I decided to start a business overseas in the cybersecurity space - FusionNode, where we are an EOR, Staff Augmentation, and Managed Services business that works and partners with some of the largest Cybersecurity companies on the planet.
Why do I coach?
I made a lot of pricy mistakes (monetarily and operationally) throughout the years experimenting and failing forward trying to figure out the best way for me to build companies and launch products. I always kept wondering back then if I had just been warned or told to think about things before doing them, that I may have been able to avoid the heartache and stress that had come with some of those decisions. I want to be that person for others, the coach that I didn't have, so that even though I know that some mistakes or failings are inevitable, I can be there in the corner providing guidance and support for the next round when it's time to move, be strategic, and grow.
