About Jordyn
My name is Jordyn, and I am so excited to help you accomplish your goals! My background is in accounting, where I completed my post-grad MAcc program and passed my CPA exams. I began my career in Big 4 Audit at EY - I loved the culture of working on a team, but I was looking for something more strategic and operational than traditional auditing. I was able to pivot from my role in accounting to Private Equity Operations, and now Tech Implementations. I love the idea of leveraging my accounting background to work in roles that are not traditional for accountants, and have now successfully done this twice. Let's chat Accounting, Private Equity, and SaaS/Tech, with an emphasis on career pivots, job applications, and networking.
Why do I coach?
I am passionate about coaching because I want to pay forward the hours of networking calls, career counseling, and knowledge transfers I have received to land the roles I have been in. I am also a user of Leland and worked with a great career coach to prepare for interviews for my most recent career pivot - I think this a great way to get industry expertise and build confidence in the job market. I help clients implement the SaaS product by leading 8-10 week projects where I customize their software based on their business needs and train them on the product. My day to day is a combination of client service, technical product knowledge, and project management.
