Break Into Marketing | 5-Year BlackRock Marketing Career
I began my career as an Analyst on the Digital Marketing team at BlackRock, the world’s largest financial asset manager with $10.6 million in assets under management. After 2.5 years, I was promoted to an Associate role on BlackRock's Marketing COO Team, where I spent the next 2.5 years. During my tenure at BlackRock, I reviewed resumes, conducted interviews, and evaluated candidates for BlackRock's internship and analyst programs. Getting accepted to BlackRock’s Marketing Analyst Program and then evaluating candidates for this program has given me firsthand insight into what’s required to stand out in selective application processes and land competitive marketing roles.
