About Jared
I'm a fresh water Canuck living in Salt Lake City with my wife, six kids, and corgi. I launched a college algebra bootcamp during my junior year at BYU and grew it to three locations. By offering in-house financing, we were able to bundle and sell our student loans to raise the capital to buy over a dozen other companies. Now I help other ETA entrepreneurs raise their Search Fund and find great acquisition targets.
Why do I coach?
I LOVE to teach. I taught college entrepreneurship courses for 10 years. Mentoring is especially meaningful if I can help other people avoid the pitfalls that I walked straight into but could have been easily avoided with a bit of sound advice.

Fund X1 was a horizontal portfolio of 15 businesses specifically acquired or launched to give us an intimate understanding of entrepreneurship through acquisition and operating small businesses.
