Coaching delivered via live sessions.
This package includes four private, 60-minute coaching sessions delivered by video over approximately six to eight weeks. Sessions are typically scheduled one to two weeks apart, giving you time to apply new approaches, observe how your team responds, and bring your progress and emerging challenges into our next conversation. My coaching style is candid, strategic, supportive, and action-oriented. I create a confidential space where you can examine challenges honestly while still being constructively challenged. Together, we will identify what is limiting your effectiveness, explore the role you play in your team’s dynamics, and develop practical approaches that fit your people, organization, and mission. You bring your knowledge of the team and organizational context. I bring an objective executive perspective, a structured process, and firsthand experience leading and developing large, diverse teams through growth and change. Each session concludes with clear actions you can apply immediately.
Before the first session, clients will receive a brief set of intake questions through Leland messaging. Please submit your responses at least 48 hours before our scheduled session so I can understand your leadership goals, team structure, current challenges, and desired outcomes. All four coaching sessions should be completed within 90 days of purchase unless we agree to a different schedule in advance. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be counted as used, except in the case of an emergency. Between sessions, clients may send brief updates or clarifying questions through Leland. I will generally respond within two business days. Substantive coaching, document review, or additional strategy development may require scheduled coaching time. Coaching is a collaborative process designed to strengthen leadership, communication, team effectiveness, and accountability. While I am committed to providing thoughtful guidance, practical tools, and actionable support, specific organizational, workforce, financial, career, or other outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

State Legislator & Former COO | Build Strong Teams That Execute
I bring more than 13 years of experience leading, developing, and mentoring professionals across nonprofit organizations, government, healthcare, behavioral health, and criminal justice. As a senior executive, I led multi-state operations encompassing 16 programs, more than 350 employees, and approximately $20 million in responsibility. I later served as Chief Operating Officer for two nonprofit organizations, where I developed leaders, aligned teams around strategic priorities, strengthened organizational culture and accountability, and guided employees through growth and change. Today, as a Colorado state legislator, I lead in a complex environment where progress depends on building coalitions, communicating across differences, exercising sound judgment, and influencing people over whom I have no direct authority. This experience has strengthened my ability to help leaders navigate competing priorities, build trust, and move people toward shared objectives. Drawing on this experience and my master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Management, I help emerging and established leaders assess where they are, clarify the leader they want to become, and develop practical strategies for getting there. My coaching focuses on strengthening communication and decision-making, navigating difficult conversations, recruiting and retaining talent, motivating teams, establishing accountability, and translating organizational strategy into coordinated action.
