About James

Hello! I'm excited to assist you on your Product Management journey. I studied Computer Science at Stanford University, then worked for 20+ years in software engineering and product management at Silicon Valley tech brands such as eBay, Expedia and Adobe. In that time, I weathered two significant economic downturns in 2001 and 2008 - gone through layoffs, transitions, etc. I've been through the ups and downs of the industry and am here to help you prepare for Product Management interviews and succeed in the role and beyond. In addition to my industry experience, I am also the CEO of my own startup, ConciergeBot, and have also worked part-time for the last 2 1/2 years as a Coach for Management Leadership for Tomorrow, where I coach college students from underrepresented minority groups on interviewing for Product Management internships and full-time jobs. I've truly enjoyed coaching/mentoring and am excited to provide my services to the greater community through Leland.
