I'm currently a PhD student in at UC Berkeley on an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. I was admitted to many of the top universities in the world (Ivies, Russell Group, etc) at both the undergraduate and graduate level, so I have experience with many levels of application. I've mentored dozens of students into successful college acceptances and careers, and have particular expertise with engineering graduate degrees. I've received many highly prestigious awards in the past like the Marshall Scholarship, Stamps President's Scholarship, and NSF GRFP, so I'm also aware of the funding landscape for incoming undergraduate and graduate students.

About Haaris
I'm a PhD student in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. I completed my undergrad at Georgia Tech, where I was a Stamps President's Scholar, and my master's at Imperial College London, where I was a Marshall Scholar. My current research is on biomaterials for musculoskeletal repair and is funded by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. I specialize in helping students with PhD, fellowship, and undergrad applications. My research career has taken me all over the world; I've lived in Switzerland, Japan, and the UK, building strong communication and storytelling skills across the journey. As a former college athlete, current part-time homeschool teacher, and future scientist, I have tons of experience helping others share their own life stories sincerely and powerfully. I've helped dozens of students get into top colleges and fellowships across the world and am excited to help you craft your application authentically!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I wouldn't be where I am today without mentors to guide me. I've been blessed to have people offering advice, pointing out opportunities, and reading my applications every step of the way. I firmly believe that every single person has unique value to offer and a unique story to tell. Being able to help others tell that story is a way that I see myself paying the mentorship I've received forward.
