About Grant
Born and raised in Ohio, I grew up in a small community. I went to a public college in Ohio to save money and worked tirelessly for 4 years to land a job at Bain & Co after graduation. Using the skills I learned at Bain, I left to lead the wholesale business of an emerging men's athleisure brand for 1 year. I am now pursuing my MBA at Stanford GSB to one day lead a men's fashion brand.
Why do I coach?
No one makes it alone. I have had countless mentors throughout high school, college, and my career that have shaped my experience and helped me achieve my goals. But the real reason I love coaching is the potential to change someone's trajectory. Based on factors outside of my control, it was highly unlikely that I would crack an industry like consulting with a top firm out of college. I want to help people (especially when the odds are stacked against them) navigate career paths that they may not have easy access into. Being part of the journey that unlocks growth in others has been one of the joys of my career. I jump at every formal and informal mentorship / coaching opportunity because of the deep satisfaction of seeing someone get "unstuck" or have a breakthrough working toward their goals.
