About Erika
I have always loved learning and first went through the school application process when I was 13, applying to boarding schools in New England. I was accepted and chose to attend Phillips Exeter Academy. From there, I applied to college, and majored in English and Creative Writing with a minor in Government at Hamilton College. A few years later, I decided to go back to school for my MBA for a career in impact investing and climate, and attended MIT Sloan. I would be happy to share what processes worked well for me. As an undergrad English major, I can also help edit essays and help ensure your unique story comes through.
Why do I coach?
I used a coach when I first applied to high school. I felt confident about my ability to write the application essays, but was nervous about the interview process. A few practice sessions with a local coach helped me understand what the process would be like and ease my nerves when I began meeting with school admissions teams in person.
