Package Description:

A 75-minute structured mock interview followed by a written Calibration Report that maps your performance against the actual MBB bar across 15 evaluation dimensions. The session covers both case and behavioral components, conducted at the rigor of a real consulting interview round. Immediately after, a detailed verbal debrief while the session is fresh — first reactions, top-of-mind feedback, and the key questions answered in real time. Within 48 hours, you receive a written Calibration Report containing: 1. Overall calibration rating with implications for your interview readiness 2. Performance summary and what it means for your preparation 3. Dimensional scoring across all 15 dimensions, split between behavioral (Personal Experience Interview) and case components, each broken into core fundamentals and execution under pressure 4. Descriptors of strong performance for each dimension, so you know what "above the bar" actually looks like 5. Specific written feedback per dimension 6. A prioritized preparation roadmap with concrete action items focused on the gaps that will most move your performance This is the framework I designed at Calvanese Advisory, applied with the same evaluation logic I used as a McKinsey Engagement Manager when conducting candidate interviews during my time at the firm.

Coaching delivered via live sessions and .

I run sessions the way I ran real interviews at McKinsey. The mock is structured and probing. The debrief afterward is direct: what worked, what didn't, what an interviewer would have written down, and the specific gap between where you are and where the bar sits. The written report is the most important part of the engagement. Verbal feedback fades within a day; a structured document gives you something to work against throughout your prep. It's also what separates this from generic mock interview coaching. You walk away with a map, not just an impression. I default to honesty over comfort. If you're not where you need to be, I'll tell you, and we'll be specific about what to do about it. If you're closer than you think, I'll tell you that too. The point of the diagnostic is to know exactly what's true so your preparation can target the right things.

Ex-McKinsey EM & Interviewer | Calibration Diagnostic creator

I'm a former McKinsey Engagement Manager and interviewer, and founder of Calvanese Advisory. I spent 4.5 years at McKinsey in the strategy practice, across the US and Italy offices, conducting 100+ candidate interviews from the interviewer side of the table. My core offer is the Calibration Diagnostic, a structured assessment I designed at Calvanese Advisory. It exists for the one thing free resources and peer practice can't replace: an honest, calibrated assessment from someone who has evaluated candidates in real consulting interviews. The proprietary framework — 15 dimensions across behavioral and case, split into core and execution — is applied the way an interviewer applies it in the room. Most mock interviews end in impressions. The Calibration Diagnostic ends in a structured written report — a dimension-by-dimension map of your performance against the bar that you can return to throughout your prep. That structure is the difference between "I think I did okay" and knowing exactly where you stand and what to fix. Why this is different: — Cases designed at EM standard, validated by other McKinsey interviewers — Behavioral prep grounded in what MBB firms actually evaluate — Written, structured feedback across 15 dimensions — your performance mapped against what clears the bar, drawn from real interviewer experience — Bilingual EN/IT, with working proficiency in French and Spanish — useful for European candidates and dual-language prep Best fit for: candidates targeting MBB or tier-2, strong-fundamentals candidates trying to break above the bar, and experienced hires switching from industry. Not a fit for: candidates very early in prep looking for foundational frameworks.
