As a career coach, I bring a unique perspective and a wealth of personal experiences to help individuals navigate their professional journeys. Having switched careers multiple times—from being a start-up co-founder to running my own design agency to working as a management consultant—I understand the challenges and uncertainties that come with pursuing different paths. I have personally grappled with the expectations and dreams of others, and it is through this self-reflection that I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of evaluating life priorities and defining success on one's own terms. In our coaching sessions, my approach is centered around you and your overall well-being, with a particular focus on mental health. I believe that true career satisfaction is rooted in aligning your work with your values and finding fulfillment beyond financial stability. We will engage in open and meaningful conversations, delving into your life story and exploring the experiences that have shaped you. Together, we will uncover what truly makes you happy and develop strategies to prioritize your mental health and overall well-being throughout your career journey. What sets me apart as a coach is my genuine care and desire to connect with you on a human level. I have a proven track record of guiding and mentoring individuals, providing candid yet empathetic advice. Colleagues and friends have sought my objective feedback and valued my ability to offer insights in a compassionate and relatable manner. Furthermore, my passion for helping others has been recognized by my therapist, who has encouraged me to share my knowledge and support as a potential therapist. I also authored a self-help book targeting high-functioning, high-performing individuals, providing further evidence of my commitment to helping others evaluate their lives and priorities. With me as your career mentor, you can expect a genuine and honest relationship built on regular communication, transparency, and a shared understanding of your unique journey. Together, we will work to uncover your true passions and navigate the complexities of the career landscape, ensuring that your choices align with your personal goals and aspirations. I am here for you because I understand the importance of having someone in your corner, supporting you as you make crucial career decisions and helping you create a fulfilling and purpose-driven professional life.

About Emily
We're all more than our LinkedIn profiles, but sometimes it's hard to look past that. To some, what they know about me are my accolades: I graduated early from a top university after earning scholarships as the top female student, established my own 6-figure design agency, collaborated with the UN on meaningful artwork, wrote my own book, co-founded a startup, and am now ex-Goldman Sachs and McKinsey, working in FinTech. I was one of the privileged individuals whose LinkedIn inbox was always flooded with headhunters and coffee chat invitations. As one of the privileged individuals lucky enough to have the opportunities I landed, I want to also use my experiences to be a platform for conversations about mental wellbeing in high-achieving environments. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 11, involuntarily held in a mental hospital at 16 for a third attempted suicide, and asked to drop out of university at 18 due to my eating disorder condition. While speaking at multiple mental health conferences, I've also taken time off of my professional life to seek rehab and therapy, and I still don't have all the answers. My work in mental health awareness hopes that others will not need to struggle through what I have to understand our very human experiences. I use my current platform to connect with individuals who are also still trying to find the answers. Whether in my eclectic collection of working experiences or my ever-growing story with mental health, I find purpose through sharing my experiences and making the professional world a little bit more human. Professionally, I am happy to chat about any of the intersections of my experiences: prestige, consulting, finance, design, start-up, and more. Personally, I am honored to help share thoughts with you so we can both find some more answers to the questions holding us back.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I've felt alone in this great big world before. I still do, sometimes. And I hope that I can make others, even if just one individual, feel less alone out here -- in any way it may make sense.
