About Eileen

While my professional training is in writing/editing and clinical psychology, I know much about the MedicaI School Application/ Admissions process: My two sons attended Harvard Medical School. And yes, I worked with them on their applications. Originally, I pursued a Ph.D. in English and American Literature and taught writing and literature in a local university. At that time, I began coaching graduate students who had "writers block," helping them get unstuck so they could effectively complete their writing assignments. I also spent some years working as a writer and editor at a large consulting firm in the Boston area. Eventually, I decided to switch career paths, returning to graduate school to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. While now happily working as a psychologist, I continue to be passionate about helping applicants perfect their medical school applications.
