About Diego

Hi, I’m Diego. Originally from Lima, Peru, where I started my consulting career at a boutique firm before joining BCG as a founding member of the Lima office. That early experience gave me unique exposure to interviewing and recruiting, which has shaped how I coach today. After earning my MBA from Kellogg, I transitioned to BCG in the U.S., living in Chicago and now Boulder, Colorado. My path has been all about connecting with people, whether through project work, recruiting, or coaching aspiring consultants across US and Latin America. Outside of work, you’ll find me running, playing tennis (or watching), hiking, skiing, scuba diving, or enjoying electronic music (listening and currently learning the arts of production!)

Why do I coach?

I coach because I genuinely enjoy helping people grow. Whether it’s team members at work or candidates preparing for interviews, I’ve always found it rewarding to support others as they develop and succeed. It’s something I’ve consistently prioritized throughout my career, and something I want to continue doing long term. I’ve benefited from great mentors at key moments in my life: getting into BCG, advancing within the firm, making the move to an MBA at Kellogg, and navigating career decisions after. Their advice and perspective had a real impact, and coaching gives me the chance to provide that kind of support to others. For me, it’s not just about an interview prep, it’s about building real connections, understanding each person’s story, and helping them position themselves to reach their goals.
