Dee’s MBA Qualifications
I coach MBA applicants through the admissions process, with a focus on veterans, engineers, and other non-traditional candidates. Through my work as an admissions consultant with Service2School, I have supported applicants admitted to leading programs including Tuck, Wharton, Harvard Business School, Kellogg, and Chicago Booth. As a Harvard Business School MBA and former U.S. Navy officer with an engineering background, I bring firsthand experience navigating a non-linear path to business school. I help applicants clarify their goals, build a compelling application strategy, translate their experiences into a strong story, and prepare with confidence for interviews.

About Dee
I’m Dee Taylor—an HBS MBA, product leader, founder, and former U.S. Navy officer. My career has taken me from electrical engineering and high-stakes military operations to product management in gaming and entrepreneurship. Along the way, I’ve learned how to make complex decisions, translate unconventional experiences into a clear story, and turn ambitious goals into practical plans. I coach MBA applicants—especially veterans, engineers, and other non-traditional candidates—through admissions strategy, personal storytelling, interviews, and career transitions. My approach is candid, structured, and supportive: we’ll get clear on what you want, identify the strongest version of your story, and build a plan to move forward.
Why do I coach?
I coach because navigating a major transition is hard enough without having to figure out the strategy alone. I’ve made several big pivots—from engineering and the U.S. Navy to Harvard Business School, product leadership, and entrepreneurship—and I know how valuable it is to have someone who can help you see the through line. I want to make that support more accessible to people whose backgrounds do not fit a traditional template. Whether you’re applying to business school, translating military or technical experience, or deciding on your next career move, I help you move from uncertainty to a clear, confident plan.
