About Christie

My life and career have taken a few turns I never expected, and I think that’s part of what has made me the coach I am today. I spent many years working for a Fortune 100 company, where my career eventually led me into leadership, facilitation, and coaching. I loved the work, but what I loved most was the people. I was always curious about what made someone think the way they did, what was getting in their way, and what might change if they looked at the situation a little differently. Eventually, coaching became much more than something I did at work. It became work I genuinely cared about. I’m a wife, a mom, a Christian, a coach, and now I’m writing my first book. Life has taught me that we can carry things people have said about us, things that have happened to us, and even things we’ve told ourselves for so long that we stop asking whether they’re actually true. I know what it’s like to have to question some of those things in my own life, too. I love good conversations, good questions, traveling and seeing new places, writing, spending time with my family, and laughing at things that probably shouldn’t be as funny as they are. I also genuinely hate deciding what to make for dinner. I don’t have all the answers, and I don’t believe a good coach is supposed to. What I do have is a lot of curiosity, years of experience sitting across from people as they work things out, and a belief that sometimes the right question at the right time can change everything.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I know what it’s like to believe something about yourself for a long time and then finally stop and ask, “But is that actually true?” That question can change a lot. I’ve seen how easily a comment, an experience, a relationship, or even one difficult season can become a belief we carry with us. Eventually, we stop seeing it as something that happened to us and start seeing it as something that says something about who we are. I love coaching because I get to sit with people while they sort through those things. I get to ask questions, listen for what might be underneath the answer, and sometimes gently challenge something they’ve accepted as truth without realizing it. My faith is at the center of how I see this work. I believe God created each of us with purpose, and I believe there is freedom in learning to recognize the difference between what we’ve been told, what we’ve come to believe, and what is actually true. I don’t coach because I have all the answers. I coach because I’ve seen what can happen when someone finally gives themselves permission to question the old ones.

My coaching provides a space to pause, gain clarity, challenge what's holding you back, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
