About Brenna

Why do I coach?
Coaching has been an integral part of my life ever since earning my black belt in martial arts while in middle school. In the sport of martial arts, there is an emphasis on giving back to the sport once you reach that milestone. This comes through teaching and mentoring younger students. As such, I spent most of my high school and college years as a martial arts coach, giving back to the sport and helping others build their skills and progress in the sport. This shaped the way I think about constant improvement and giving back to a community that has invested in you. During my academic and professional journey, I was the beneficiary of many mentors and leaders who helped shape my career. Their guidance continues to play a meaningful role in my success, and I want to be able to do the same for others. I coach because I genuinely enjoy helping others succeed - whether that’s passing the CPA exams, learning complex accounting topics, or preparing for and landing a big 4 job. Seeing someone accomplish a goal they’ve worked hard towards is one of the most rewarding experiences for me.
