This package is designed for high school juniors and seniors and is the most comprehensive and general package I offer. Here are some (but not all!) of the services included: — School Selection: We'll first create a list of schools that you would love to attend. I will then suggest other schools that you may have overlooked but would fit your goals. After we've settled on a list, we'll categorize these schools as safeties, matches, or reaches, and then devise application strategies tailored to each school on your list, including involvement in early admissions processes. — Essay Brainstorming & Editing (Common App/UC/Supplemental): We'll discuss approaches for crafting a strong narrative tailored to you and showcasing your individual strengths. Once we agree on a direction, we'll spend time iterating upon and improving your essays to be as compelling, precise, and unique in language and content as possible, as well as discuss strategies relating to word count and language economy. If you don't have any essays or even ideas coming in, no worries; we'll have brainstorming sessions to identify your story before beginning the process. — Letters of Recommendation: We'll identify the teachers, professors, coaches, or other individuals in your life who have come to best know your character. We'll then select recommenders from that pool to display your full set of strengths. We'll also go over strategies to ensure that the recommendations you receive are as strong as possible, including guidance on forming strong student-recommender rapport and on timelines to ask for and follow up on letters. — Waitlist Strategy: If you're placed on any waitlists, we'll work on strategies to maximize your chances of being selected, including further polishing your application and working to write letters of continued interest. — Interview Strategy: If you're presented with the opportunity to interview with an alumnus, we'll cover strategies to ace the interview, including creating a sheet of talking points to highlight your strengths and conducting mock interviews. — General Application Crafting: We'll look over your full application profile comprehensively and holistically, including your transcript, extracurriculars, test scores, and letters of recommendation. With this information, we'll craft an application that goes beyond numbers on a page to present your unique strengths and passions. Anyone can fill out information on a college application form, but together, we'll use smart strategy and informed emphasis to make your application turn recruiters' heads. While these services represent specific tasks I will do for you, my role is to be there for you in all aspects of the college consulting process. If you think you would benefit from anything that lies outside this list, I would be happy to assist with that as well.

I'm going to be honest—success in any fields takes a lot of work, and college admissions are no exception. If you want to make the most of this service and excel in your application cycle, you should be willing to put in a substantial amount of time. If you're ready to do this, you don't want a college consultant that ghosts you between semi-monthly meetings. You want one that's always available to give you feedback and help you succeed, and that's exactly what I plan on doing. In this regard, I find that a combination of live calls and asynchronous communication lends itself best to success. I guarantee at least one long (several hours if you would like) live call per week, as well as the ability to message me for suggestions, get answers to questions, or schedule impromptu live calls to cover any needs that arise. Let's go over our specific workflow. Before we meet, I'll have you fill out a brag sheet to showcase what you're proud of. After that, we'll hop on a call to learn about you, not just in the context of college consulting, but as a person. During this call, we'll discuss your goals, strengths, and passions—everything that makes you who you are. From this information, we'll build a resume that encompasses the key points that makes you a strong applicant. We'll then work to build your list of schools, consider potential recommendation writers, and create a detailed timeline of target dates to write essays and submit applications. Finally, after spending some time on introspection and analysis, we'll be in a good place to begin looking at essay prompts and brainstorming strategies to craft an excellent narrative. As mentioned above, I'll provide you with a timeline and key dates at the very start of the process. After our initial call, we'll continue to communicate and focus on each upcoming task. Some tasks, like essay brainstorming and application strategizing, benefit from being discussed on a live call. Some other tasks, like essay editing, lend themselves better to message-based communication, where I can give you detailed written guidance and specific edit suggestions, and you'll have the time to consider what changes you'll make. Regardless, we'll be in constant communication throughout the process. After finishing each aspect of your application, we'll take the time to carefully examine our work and add polish wherever necessary. We'll also discuss potential ways to maximize word economy to adapt word count limits. At the end of the day, your success is my top priority, and I won't be satisfied until you are. If you want my feedback or assistance with anything, including things I haven't mentioned thus far, I'd be happy to help. If you want more live calls or more time, we'll fit those in. We won't be done until your application is the absolute best it can be.
I am as responsive as possible. If you text me outside of when I'm asleep, expect a response in two hours maximum.

Duke Alum, Meta Eng | 4.0 GPA, CS Double Degree | Success Guaranteed
I was admitted Early Decision to Duke University and also received the Regents Scholarship to every UC school I applied to (including Berkeley and UCLA). I had a 4.0 unweighted GPA in high school and a 4.0 GPA at Duke University, where I graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Classics and Computer Science. While I have been told I am a skilled writer, more importantly, I promise I can help you be a skilled writer as well, even if you aren't already. Writing doesn't come naturally to me, but after majoring in the classics and participating in academic debate, I have an excellent understanding of what makes writing persuasive and memorable—something I will help you apply to your college essays. GPA and extracurricular activities are important (and I will give you detailed and comprehensive advice on maximizing both of these aspects), but I guarantee that every student I coach will have not just excellent stats, but also a well-rounded application that will turn heads at any school.
