About Atharva
I was admitted to a couple of the top deferred MBA programs (HBS, Kellogg & Darden). Working with others to help them achieve their goals is truly a passion of mine. I know the challenges with securing high test scores, writing authentic essays and nailing the interview. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to share that with you and see you get admitted to the school of your dreams! I recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology (a public university), where I studied Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Spanish language. My background in engineering helps me connect with STEM students looking to pursue an MBA. I've focused all of my work experience in the medical device/biotech/healthcare space. In college, I spent a year with Johnson & Johnson working as a Design R&D Engineer, worked for Becton Dickinson in marketing and was the lead design engineer of a biotech startup looking to make point of care diagnostics, including Covid tests. Upon graduation, I joined Danaher as part of their operations leadership program, hoping to understand the intricacies of manufacturing and supply chain. The operating company I work for (Cepheid) is a market leader in the Covid-19 diagnostic space. While at Cepheid, I helped drive business efficiency through lean & led their manufacturing team in India. Most recently, I've pivoted from operations to product marketing within Danaher to a new operating company (Beckman Coulter). Outside of work, I've been a competitive swim coach for some of the world's top athletes, including 2 US Olympians. I've coached athletes and teams to multiple junior national titles and international competitions. I am confident in my ability to set goals and drive results in every facet of my life. I hope to bring this expertise to MBA coaching and helping you achieve your goals. I am most comfortable assisting with school selection, recommendation selection, essay writing, resume reviews, GRE test prep (quant) and interview prep.
