About Arman

Hi, I’m Arman, a dedicated pre-dental mentor. I am helping aspiring dentists build their applications and land acceptances at this dental schools. I attended UCLA and am an incoming D1 at USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. I walked the pre-dental path myself: balancing tough prerequisites, strategic shadowing and volunteering, DAT prep that delivered strong scores, crafting authentic personal statements and experiences sections, interviews, and ultimately gaining acceptance to dental school. Along the way, I learned what truly moves the needle with AADSAS and admissions committees and what common mistakes hurt even strong candidates. After seeing friends and early mentees succeed with targeted guidance (multiple acceptances to top programs), I realized I could help more pre-dents avoid the stress, wasted time, and guesswork. That’s why I coach on Leland: to give you clear, personalized strategies based on real admissions realities, not generic advice. I specialize in: • Building competitive extracurriculars (shadowing, research, volunteering) • DAT study plans and score maximization • Writing compelling personal statements and activity descriptions • Interview prep (traditional, MMI, group) • Overall application strategy, timeline management, and mindset support through the highs and lows I took the DAT once, applied and interviewed at 7 schools before deciding on USC.
