About Ariel
I'm Ariel, a current 3L at Stanford Law with a passion for helping aspiring law students reach their goals. My journey to law school was long, as I took time to reflect and make sure that my career aligned with my own goals and ideals while working as a legal assistant. I bring this strategic and thoughtful approach to my coaching. At Stanford, I've served as Co-President of the Black Law Students Association, and worked as a Technical Managing Editor for the Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Journal. In the Community Law Clinic, I discovered a new legal basis for objecting to nonpayment evictions, buying our clients more time to gather funds and apply for aid. Through clinic, pro bono work with the Social Security program, and my work in public interest, I've seen the difference that having an advocate can have for students and clients alike. As a pre-law student in undergraduate, I chose to take time off from school and work as a legal assistant to make sure this career was right for me. Now at Stanford, I've learned how to develop applications that stand out while remaining true to your own story. I've spent my career working with people of color and first-generation professionals, helping others to tell their stories confidently, the same way my mentors helped me tell mine. Whether you're curious about law school, interested in applying, or focused on a T-14 school, I'm here to support your goals. My pricing is set for accessibility, and you can schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if I'm the right fit. If you're nervous about making a big investment, I offer discount options to make myself available to those who need it most. You are qualified for law school. Your story is important. Let's work together to show law schools who you are.
Why do I coach?
I don't come from a family of lawyers. My first glimpse into law was as a legal assistant, straight out of undergrad, with no formal training. Although my path to law school felt confusing and overwhelming at times, I was able to move forward with the support of my peers and mentors. Like most people, I pulled together information from my school career office, from friends and coworkers, and, of course, from Reddit. The process felt intimidating and secretive, and the difficulty of the process increased my anxiety as I waited for results. This is why I coach. I know how isolating the law school application process feels, and I want to do my best to make sure no one has to go through it alone. My goal is to simplify and illuminate the law school admissions process, and to give you the tools and confidence you need to present your best self. My path has been focused on public interest, but my coaching is about your dream, whether that's big law, policy, academia, or beyond. Together we'll address your goals and your fears to tell your story honestly and authentically.
