Let me be your MBB sherpa! 😊Like a sherpa, I am an expert at helping you navigate the dizzying terrain of MBB life (both recruiting and post-accpetance). My three biggest value-adds are: (1) case interviewing - to this day I still case interview applicants; (2) MBB reviews: I love to dispell the myths and rumors you may have encountered on forums like Reddit; (3) Role-fit assessment: providing honest feedback on whether an MBB career aligns with your goals. SInce I was cross-offered between BCG and McKinsey I spent an immense amount of time studying the two firms. At McKinsey I continued to do this as I focused on helping cross-offerees understand the differences among MBB. Even before starting at McKinsey, I was helping peers break into MBB by being a paid case interviewer at Wharton (where I completed my JD/MBA degree from The Wharton School and University of Pennsylvania Law School). I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my coaching. At McKinsey, I specialized in growth and efficiency studies and was trained as an interviewer, providing me with deep insights into the consulting recruitment process. Over the years, I've successfully coached dozens of MBB prospects, helping them navigate the complexities of case interviews to secure positions at top consulting firms. I particularly enjoy spending serious time explaining the differences between the firms (based off my own dilligence when cross-offered as well as from my current ex-MBB colleagues). My recent McKinsey alumunus status perfectly positions me to provide relevant insights on how to master the consulting case interview, objectively decide between MBB firms, and optimize your MBB experience (particularly at McKinsey). I enjoy talking about all facets of MBB recruiting and MBB life - nothing is off limits (e.g., what should one actually expect, how does McK staffing work in practice). The latter topic of McKinsey staffing is particularly interesting to me as I always self-staffed (apart from the summer internship). Moreover, as an alumnus who sitll uses case interviews I have recruited several ex-MBB consultants. This allows me to continue to gain insights on any Firm updates, confirm differences in how the MBB firms operate, and comment on what to expect post-MBB. Whether you're looking to refine your interview skills or need comprehensive application support, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. Let's connect and craft a strategy to achieve your career goals!

About Anthony
I started my career by leaving Georgetown to work at a young, fast-growing start-up in Brazil. Fast-forward, I have completed 3 degrees and worked in both advisory and operating roles at companies of all sizes. This includes my own start-ups in a myriad of industries: crypto, sports betting, secondary retail, communications, as well as consulting at some of the largest financial institutions in the world. I currently lead a BU for a mid-sized public company where I work with several of my ex-MBB colleagues, as well as other professionals from more traditional paths. My passion for helping people, particularly in professional settings, is a core thread through all of my diverse experiences. Whether it is advising clients at McKinsey, case prepping 1Ys as a 2Y at Wharton, or upskilling my current team, I am focused on helping others achieve their goals. I love to identify for what they are solving and then walk them through the potential paths forward.
Why do I coach?
I coach for three reasons: (1) Return the Favor; (2) Impact; (3) Enjoyment 1) I benefited from prior coaching, so now it's my turn to provide the same (regardless of your own natural network - that is why Leland is so great, no prior network needed) 2) Folks are making life-changing decisions (literally). I want to make sure they do so on the most informed basis. 3) I truly enjoy working with others to accomplish their professional goals. I have been coaching for years and it never gets old. I find my biggest value add to be dispelling the myths and rumors you may have encountered on forums like Reddit. In my experience, the Internet has a lot of half truths, so I am eager to clarify any thoughts or concerns you may have.
