My mantra is to be helpful. If I'm not helpful, I'll get out of your way. So much about career satisfaction has to do with fit. Find a place that values you for the things you're uniquely good at and being at work can feel fun, exciting, and also rewarding. I attended Harvard for undergrad and Stanford for my masters. I've worked at 10 person start-ups to 100,000 person companies like Google. I've been an individual contributor and also managed teams of 20+; throughout these experiences, I've learned some of the best questions to ask myself (and others) that can help identify and then successfully get into roles with the best fit.
