Andy’s Transitioning from the Military Qualifications

Experience level: Manager

60+ people coached for Transitioning from the Military

I’ve built my career by successfully navigating high-stakes situations and unknown environments, and I help others do the same. I began as a Special Operations Infantry Officer, leading soldiers on three deployments to the Middle East before transitioning to business. After leaving the military, I earned my MBA from The Wharton School and worked for L.E.K. Consulting. I now lead a $1B+ business at Amazon, where I manage strategy, growth, and vendor partnerships at scale. I’m also the co-founder of The Endorphin Belt, a performance running gear company built to solve real problems for endurance athletes. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to translate complex backgrounds into compelling career narratives and winning strategies. I work with clients pursuing MBA programs, consulting, tech roles, and other competitive opportunities, helping them position their experience, sharpen their story, and execute a clear path forward. If you’re navigating a major transition or aiming for a highly competitive role, I’d be glad to help you build the strategy to get there.

Why do I coach?

I know how unclear and overwhelming big transitions can feel when you’re in the middle of them. When I was leaving the military, I didn’t have a perfect roadmap. I had to figure out how to translate my experience, what paths were actually available, and how to compete with candidates who had been preparing for years. Along the way, I benefited from people who gave honest advice, challenged my thinking, and helped me see opportunities I wouldn’t have found on my own. Since then, I’ve found a lot of fulfillment in doing the same for others whether it’s helping someone break into consulting or tech, get into business school, or pursue their own venture. What I enjoy most is helping people simplify what feels complex, build a clear plan, and move forward with confidence. These decisions have a real impact on the direction of your life. If I can help someone make that transition with more clarity, confidence, and momentum, it’s worth it.
