Description

Most job searches don't fail because of one big problem. They fail because of one or two small ones, and nobody ever points them out. Maybe it's a resume that buries the achievements that actually matter. Maybe it's a networking approach that gets you conversations but never referrals. Maybe it's how you're answering the first interview question. Whatever it is, it's usually fixable, and it's usually invisible to you because you're the one doing it. That's what the Job Search Diagnosis is for. In this 30-minute, one-on-one live session, you'll walk a coach through your entire job search so far: what you've applied to, how you've been networking, what your interviews have looked like, where things have stalled. The coach isn't there to give you generic advice. They're there to find the specific one or two things that are quietly working against you and tell you exactly what they are. You'll leave the session knowing precisely what's been holding your search back, why it's been happening, and what to do differently starting now.

Harvard MBA, Fulbright & Army Leader | Mindfulness & Career Pivot Coach

Hello I’m Amos, and I help high-achievers navigate career pivots with a mindful lens, MBA admissions, and a more grounded, sustainable way to succeed. I’m a Harvard MBA and Fulbright Scholar, and I was also accepted to Stanford GSB, MIT Sloan, Columbia, and Yale SOM, and was a Gates Cambridge and Yenching Academy finalist. I’ve spent much of my life searching for meaning and purpose, from Wall Street to the U.S. Army, to NGOs and humanitarian aid, and development finance across East Africa and conflict-affected regions of the Middle East. Across these experiences, one theme has consistently emerged: external success, money, and even impact don’t automatically translate into fulfillment. Fulfillment is an internal journey, one that requires reflection not just in the mind, but in the body as well. I believe coaching isn’t just about optimizing your next move or chasing the right title. It’s an opportunity to slow down and honestly reflect on: - What actually matters to you - What kind of life you want to be living, not just what looks good on paper - How to pursue ambition without burning yourself out or losing yourself along the way I help people combine practical strategy with presence and embodiment, so progress doesn’t just look good, it actually feels right. Together, we turn your goals into concrete actions while staying connected to your values, nervous system, and sense of meaning. When helpful, this may include meditation, somatic practices, or yoga. Wherever you are in your career, education, or life transition, my goal is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and deeper alignment. Here are some of the ways I work with clients: - Career pivots and major decision-making - Building resilience and preventing burnout in demanding roles - MBA, prestigious fellowship, and service academy admissions - School selection, essay ideation, and interview preparation Life isn’t easy, and it isn’t supposed to be. But if you’re serious about building a life that feels both meaningful and ambitious, I’d love to explore what that could look like together. Feel free to reach out or schedule a no-pressure conversation to see if this work feels like a good fit.
