I serve as an alumni interviewer for Stanford undergraduate applicants in the Greater Boston area and India (mostly Delhi and Mumbai). The purpose of the interview is to assess fit for Stanford community, share about the Stanford ecosystem, and provide impressions of these candidates to the admission committee to facilitate decisions. A Stanford interview is designed to be a casual, comfortable conversation, and is optional for all first-year applicants.
